Get to know textile artist, painter, and educator Bryana Bibbs in a visit to her Bridgeport Art Center studio. Discover how Bryana represents her personal life experiences through color and mark-making in her weavings, paintings, and mixed-media pieces created with non-traditional materials. Bryana is the founder of the We Were Never Alone Project – A Weaving Workshop for Victims and Survivors of Domestic Violence and is a 2021-2022 Chicago Artist Coalition HATCH Residency Artist. At the end of our evening, Bryana will demonstrate how she weaves her unique creations.
